Generations Hall is a truly unique event hall in New Orleans. Conceived as a sugar refinery in the 1820, Generations Hall still pays homage to the past with rich artwork by prominent artists such as Xavier deCallatay and George Schmidt. This artwork provides insights into New Orleans’ famous relationship with jazz music. The facility is designed to capture the style of the French Quarter, but also infuses an awesome lineup of technologies that will make your event that much more enjoyable. The state of the art audio system delivers crisp sound and our video technology comes with large video screens and monitors throughout the venue. We also have an expert team of audio technicians that can design and provide lighting and sound of a variety of styles, including New Orleans Big Band, Disco, Cocktail Jazz, Techno, and more! Our offerings of amenities are flexible as well, as we can customize them according to your preferences. Our three spacious rooms can be rented together or separately. Our three primary rooms include The Metropolitan One, The Metropolitan Two, and The Big Room. Between the three, we have seven high volume service bars and three sets of restrooms. Generations Hall knows how to throw a good party, and the technology and equipment we have placed throughout our venue is evidence of that. For example, on the bottom floor of the Metropolitan One, guests will be entertained by five 42” and two 47” plasma TV’s and a 6’ retractable projection screen. Our state of the art lighting, audio, and visual experience can morph into any style you desire. Furthermore, a New Orleans styled courtyard provides outside seating, satellite bars, catering tables, among other things. Further still, a large prep kitchen and high capacity warehouse can serve as storage for a sound room. All in all, our floor plan can be made to accommodate 25 VIP areas.
