Generations Hall: Your 2017 Mardi Gras Destination

Mardi Gras is fast approaching and purple, green, and gold are beginning to decorate the streets of New Orleans. As the city begins to paint itself with theatrical masks and prepare for a classic New Orleans tradition, the time for celebration is upon us. As we all begin to unload our bead bags, ladders, and purchase king cakes, the anticipation for parades and partying begins to heighten. There is no better way to kick off the festivities of your Mardi Gras weekend than a FREE block party with live music, local food, and fun drink specials for everyone! Come celebrate with us at Bacchus Bash in New Orleans hosted by Generations Hall!

Generations Hall is located in the famous warehouse district and consists of 36,000 square feet of historical architecture, formerly being home to a sugar mill in the 1820s. Generations Hall has three main rooms including the Metropolitan One, The Metropolitan Three, and The Big Room that allow spacious accommodation for entertaining and conviviality. This makes it the perfect event center for celebrations such as Bacchus Bash in New Orleans. It also has customizable amenities, a timeless New Orleans atmosphere, and modern technology that creates an environment where the party never has to end! It includes multiple VIP sections that can turn a very public outing into a much more intimate and personal affair, as well as a sound system to play Mardi Gras hits that will prepare you to catch some loot! Where to Go and Who to See

Come see for yourself on February 26! All parade-goers are invited to start the season at noon. Grab a specialty cocktail and meet us at our outdoor stage to watch Flow Tribe, The Top Cats, Category 6, and Big Sam’s Funky Nation perform live! As well as our outdoor stage performances, an indoor stage will host music from Mannie Fresh, DJ Scene, DJ Taf, DJ Wixx, and Ronnie Roux. Generations Hall will also have multiple large LED televisions brought in to broadcast the Super Bowl for free for all of our guests. Everyone can sit back, relax, and enjoy the entertainment. Carnival Activities will also be hosted all day long to get everyone in the building yelling, “Throw Me Something Mister!”

This all-day block party will precede the 2017 Krewe of Bacchus Parade that runs at 5:15 p.m. sharp in Uptown New Orleans. Dancing and drinks and food and fun all combine to make this your all-in-one pre-parade extravaganza.
